US Bank weird Denial... Please HELP!!!!!

Hi all...I was pre qualified for couple of us bank cards with 15.99% apr. I applied for one of them, and it went pending.. and yesterday i got this denial in the mail, and i am so clueless and kind of upset on the reason they provided.

Thank you for applying for u.s.bank signature rewards credit card account.

we regret we are unable to approve your application at this time DUE TO NUMEROUS RECENT APPLICATIONS USING THIS HOME PHONE NUMBER.

Our decision was based in whole or in part on information abtained from the following consumer credit reporting agency/agencies.

SageStream,LLC Consumer office, P O Box 503793, san diego, CA 92150

Ph.888-395-0277  and 

Advanced Resolution Services, Inc 5005 rockside rd. suite 600 , Independence, OH 44131

Ph.800-392-8911

 

They checked my TU report which has 5 inqs in last 12 months... But if they go by total number of applications which i submitted including Equifax and Experian.. then EQ 6 inq + EXP 5 last 24 months so thats total of 16 applications with my phone number.

 

My TU score CK is 781 no lates no baddies..2.9 years AAoA. I would like to recon this app with US Bank. I would appreciate if someone can help me with this recon.. what should i say when i recon...This is the first time i came accross this kind of denials... They did not deny my app because of inquiries on my TU report... WTH are these SageStream and Advanced Resolution Svcs.

Now my home phone number is also used by my DW,  who also got around 7 diff credit account with different banks..

They are smaller credit reporting agencies. You can call them and request a free report, once a year, just like the big three.

Contact SageStream and ARS for your free annual reports and go over them.

Some folks freeze those credit bureaus but no idea if us bank denies based on freezes there.

Just call them tomorrow, they're very friendly. Ask them to reconsider based on your amazing credit score, responsible usage and ability to pay.

I know ARS logs alot of credit inquiries lately. Doesn't surprise me that conservative banks are using them.

SageStream (previously known as IDA), see below for the required documents:

Advanced Resolution Services (ARS):
They don't have a website, but they would need -
Personal info - Full name, full SSN, address, zip, phone number
Proof of identity - one of [driver's license/state ID/medicare health insurance card/passport]
The request should be signed. I actually have a copy of their consumer report request form back in 2015.

Just get the letter and documents ready and you can mail to the addresses.
