I tried to go past 25k on my Fidelity account, and was hit with a 7-10 day and immediate HP. Though that was some time ago, I've considered 25k to be the SP cap ever since.
Another question would be whether or not we've seen limits higher than 25k in general on Socks products other than the Alt. Reserve.

I tried to get CLI over $25k as SP online without speaking to representative, and right away I got the message that my application for CLI is under review and I would hear from them in 7-10 days...Its still pending and I would hear from them the disposition of it in a few days. However, I believe its a datapoint that over $25k CL, US bank doesnt want to give you instant, SP and without reviewing your account by underwriter...which means our application/request would go for review by the underwriter and it would be HP as well whenever a CLI would go over $25k on the account. I immediately received a notification from EX about the HP which was not the case all these years when I was receiving instant CLI....
@Janneman Thank you for volunteering to test the CLI process for over $25k. It's unfortunate that a hard pull was recorded, though it might be worth it if the request is ultimately successful. My 5 month old Reserve is at $20k (the SL), so I am very interested in hearing about your eventual outcome. Good luck!
I got increased of $7k by manual review thru hp on my Altitude Go...So, now it has $32k limit...Having a hard pull is not always bad...besides, not always we could get CLI by SP, sometimes we need to be loosen up a bit...Having said that, I did contact Ellan Financial today as well to ask CLI on 4 of my cards with them wherein I never requested nor got any auto CLI...Very lovely lady came and asked only about my income and my housing rent/morgage, that's all...and I got $10k on each of those 4 cards as CLI by instant approval thru SP....However, she did tell me though that she doesn't know if it would be instant or manual review...and a sp or hp...said that all she would do is putting the info in the system and system would decide...Thanks God that system instantly approved CLI on all those 4 cards and sp...I was sure that there would be a hp with Ellan but not in my case...By the way, I have these 4 Ellan's cards for the last 8 years and never ever asked any CLI....Representative was able to see all of my accounts with US banks as well in the system.

I just hit 25k with them on my cash+. Now I am thinking I should move that usage to my altitude go or altitude connect cards and grow them if they have a 25k limit on soft pulls.
I though I had blown it with them for a while when I was a day late with my payment in January. A complete oversight where I could swear I paid them as I usually make multiple payments per month. Fortunately, the took me from 21.5 to 25k.
You can't combine or move limits between products at USB.
