I've been tried to score a SP CLI for months on my AR. I called in for a HP CLI at the 6 months mark, which was approved, afterI got denied for the first SP CLI application in app. My second SP CLI denial was at the 1 year mark when I tried again in app, and got denied with the following reason, there has been a previous change to your credit limit within the last six months. My third denial was a month later with 2 reasons, too few joint accounts and too many recently opened backcard accounts. I was 2/12, 3/24. A month later, which is today, I tried again on the web, and got a message saying I have to unfreeze my profile to get a decision. Does anyone know is this website specific, and should I try again in app? Also is it okay to go for a SP CLI every month if I was denied?
I stopped getting SP CLI at $25k with USB. Since then, every time is an ask to unlock my credit report.

I see, but my case is different though. I've applied for CLI 3 times now at 15K, and only the third time I was asked to unfreeze my report.
they tell me I have a low turd score.

Yup. My turd score is around 560. Though it doesn't look like a denial this time when they ask me to unfreeze.
I've always been scared to request an increase on my Cash+. I don't know if it'd be a soft or hard pull
I checked the app yesterday, and there's a message saying that my CLI request was indeed denied because my transunion report is frozen. I'll get a letter with details in 7 to 10 days, and I should unfreeze my transunion report.
That is okay, i got a letter finally in from my last request due to "too many inquiries". The fun of it is i have only 4 on EXP, 1 x23 moths old, 2 x6 months old, 1 x3 months old. The letter also did not mention what cra they got the data from, any credit scores or etc. I had to call and ask what CRA (they always try to pull Experian for me).
In reading around this Forum, I noticed comments related to US Banks attitude on credit inquiries (few is good - like one). Over the last many years US Bank has had a reputation on being conservative until they have what they consider a satisfactory performance record (titled a Customer Relationship Score) and then they are more open to new products and so on.
For myself, they have been good in all respects EXCEPT ... not once could I open any products. They made me go into a US Bank Branch 100% of the time. Further, they always gave me the we will let you know letter (generally two days).
Found this interesting as all my products were opened and verified onsite by a US Bank banker. GO figure. No I never did business with them in the long past and never burned them. As to other lenders, I also am clean.
So, what to say. Even today I got flagged on attempting to open a CD on line. Took a couple verifications first with the US Bank telephone bank verifiers (they would not accept an in the Branch Banker). After being a customer with a very clean record of more than ten years it is still no easy access? Money Laundering entered my mind ... but there was no new money just combining a redeemed CD and money from a US Bank Savings equaling old money for a new CD?
Oh, the verfication was interesting, they did the preliminary name, address, etc and then they pulled up a telephone number from my profile and sent a five digit code that I had to read back to the Telephone Banker who had to input it on their US Bank system computer. System would verify and allow the banker access to my full profile for working on my requested product(s) and questions. The verification number was unknown to the banker.
Almost felt like a criminal?
Wonder what is the game???
I just tried again, turned down, turd 556. My tu fico8 is 796, quite a difference. I'm at $2000 on ac. I have both a personal and business checking with them. Also a shoppers visa with a $7000 credit limit, no cli on that one either.
