As to benefit of the community here is my quick summary.
I was pretty certain I was going to have a good chance at getting approved because of my long-term relationship with the bank. They approved me 7k on my second card ever. However, that was sadly not the case and I was unaware of how hard this application really was.
Upon applying I was immediately denied. The reasons being something along the line of "ratio of accounts above zero"
I have 4% utilization across the board but 47% specifically on my Apple Card and 3% on my autograph. 0% everywhere else.
Zero delinquencies. 1/24, 1/12, 0/6
776 fico experian. 13 accounts. AAOA is at three years.
Again, like I said, I've had a solid relationship with them when it comes to their cards (I have 3) and a 15 year banking relationship, but even that wasn't enough.
So to add to the pot, I also believe this card is specifically targetting people who have fewer cards with a proven track record to use them
