I applied for the USbank cash+ because I want to do a balance transfer but I have a recent inquiry on Equifax for my vehicle back in 2/23.
I have my mortgage with them and my EQ score is 790 (No derogatories, 12% utilization).
What are the odds that I would be approved? Did I make a mistake?

Why is it a mistake? You did what you did, so just roll with it.
It's a great card if you max out the 5% categories. I use it for utilities.

From what I've read (after I applied) USbank is very sensitive to new inquiries - no matter the type. 🤦🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️
