Uber Visa Card Application

Hi, recently I applied for the Uber Visa Card and was denied. I received the letter and the reason says “Too many recent applications”. I am not sure what this mean because before this I only applied once and got rejected 2 and a half months ago since my credit account wasn’t opened for long enough. Is too many recent applications the same as too many inquiries? Also, what should I do next to get this credit card. Thank you.

Not the same thing. I believe Barclay requires 90 days between apps and denied your app based on not surpassing that number.

Did you get a HP on any of your credit reports?

Call this number and ask them to reconsider your application and they will be glad to do it with the same HP.  They will take a look over your CR and ask you some questions such as time at currently employment, income and any issues with your credit profile along with why you have opened so many cards recently and/or inquiries which it sounds like reason of denial and if they like your answers they will overturn your denial..
