@Anonymous wrote:Is there anyway to PC to this from Sallie Mae (Which Is no longer useful to me....)
Not currently an option. I believe they can PC to the Rewards version (maybe) but not UBER. You can call them if anything, but Barclay's isn't really known for PCs, upgrades/downgrades to the same product or family of cards, yes.
Since there is nothing better to do on an extended weekend than burn an INQ, this one is dedicated to Uber/Barclays. The app was a tad emotional because I do not expect success on a open BofA SP CLI request. I received the 7-10 day message on the Uber app and called underwriting who then transferred me to the security team. I have to mail in docs (SSN,DL,and bank statement).
From reading the board, Barclay's ID verification request ultimately leads to an approval; however, I appreciate understanding others experience with ID verification for the Uber card.
Also, is Barclay or any bank allowed to share these documents with LexisNexis?
Thanks to everyone for posting. I'm learning from all of your experiences. Just learned about the Uber Visa card from someone's comment on an article discussing the best credit cards to have and that led me to these forums. I never heard of "recon" until now and decided to give it a shot after applying for this card.
Approved: $15k. Called the number to ask for recon the next day. The analyst just asked for verbal confirmation of income and and why I was requesting and CLI. I just explained that I wanted to try utilizing the points/rewards and was looking for something in the 25-30k range. After that, he increased CL to $25k and said they would like to see some spending/usage history with them before approving more of an increase.

Nice! That is a killer starting limit.

Receive the approval email after verification was processed ($2K SCL). I was a little disappointed I didn't get 5K given my income. My SCL recon attempt was unsuccessful (via the back door #). I have not been with Barclays in years...so, I guess I need to reestablish myself.
TU Fico: Unknown but probably below 700 now that I have balances reporting (still PIF or float 0% but not AZEO)

New accounts prior to this app: 6 months (2) and 12 months (7)
I need to be (locked) in the farmhouse... I am refreshing my card portfolio for my spend...hence the recent apps and accounts. I have 2 more left to on the list for later this year and then I'm on ice until the mortgage or for business accounts only.
Just some data points. Approved yesterday for 10k
