I applied on May 16th and was instantly approved for $4500 with a APR of 17.24%. (I always PIF so the APR doesn't matter to me just thought I would post it for reference). I called to recon the SL as I wanted the Visa Signature version, but was denied because they believe that $4500 is sufficient for my needs (which it is plenty but worth the try). I received the card today May 20th (Only 4 days after I was approved and only 2 business days later) and I did not rush the card. Im super pumped to start using it at restaurants and bars to get that 4% back. Also the $100 signup bonus will be nice as I need to purchase my textbooks for my summer courses with that and my car insurance payment ill easily meet the $500 minimum in 90days.
It only pulled TU.
I also wanted to note that I am a 21YO Student who makes about $15,000 a year.
Here are my data points for TU when I apped:
TU Credit Score: 778
TU Inqs: 3 (2 in the last year)
Payment History: 100% On-time
Utilization: 2% overall, (0 - 6% per card)
Derogatory Marks: 0
Average Age of Credit History WITH AU accounts: 2.8 years
Average Age of Credit History without AU accounts: ~1 Year
Total Accounts Open: 7
Total Account Opened in the last 6 Months: 1
Total Account Opened in the last Year: 3
Accounts Open:
Paypal MasterCard - CL $3,000
Citi Bank AAdvantage Mileup - CL $5,200
Bank Of America Travel Rewards - CL $2,700
Discover It Student Cashback - CL $5,500 (now $7,000)
US Bank Auto Loan - Balance ~$7,200 left of $10,000
AU CC - Chase Freedom - CL $25,900
AU CC - Capital One Quicksilver - CL $20,000
Note that even if you do get the limit raised later (or if you had recon'd it succesfully), it will not be changed to a Visa Signature. Once the account is approved as a regular Visa, that's it, regardless of future limit changes. Not all banks operate that way, but Barclay doesn't budge on it from what I've seen. The only exception is if you're targeted for a random upgrade at some point.

I applied on a Sunday afternoon and was approved the following Tuesday for $2.5k C/L. Honestly, I couldn't be more pissed I wasted a hard pull for $2.5k. Deeply regret it and wish I had gone for a card with a better SUB.
Call 866-205-5973 and tell them you need it to be more in line with your other cards and they'll take a 2nd look. I got 11K and called for 25K and got it in under 5 minutes.
I applied for the Uber Visa card because I use a lot on dining, thousands a month for my job. (I work on Hospitality Management Company) And I received a card with $500 SL. Yes... $500.
I have 2 BOA AU cards with a history of 16 years and 1 month and 6 years and 8 months.
AAoA for a credit score is 3 Years and 2 months because of those 2 AU cards. My own cards' oldest account is 1 year and 1 month because I came to the USA last year.
Adding me to my friends' AU cards helped me with boosting my credit score to 751 on my Trans Union Fico 8, but approved for only $500.
Yes, I reconned 3 times and they said no. I mentioned my oldest account is 16 years they said it is not your card, you are AU on that card. They didn't count those 2 AU card accounts when they reviewed my app.
So basically, AU help with your score but doesn't help for SL of new credit card? I am confused.
Yes the banks are getting wise to AU, it is not your account thay are not going to pay your bill. If you want to see bank fraufraud about Au's check out U tube Credit build TV close my chase creditcards. Ther are people selling Au's chase close accaccounts for have to many Au's.
Lets try this again I was using voice dictation. The banks are getting wise to Au's onaccounts. The person who you are an Au is not going to stand by your promise to pay. Check out Au fraud , check out credit build tv thay close my chase credit cards for having to many Au's. Ther are people selling Au's.
Just applied last night. Initially received the "wait 10 days" screen, no instant approval. Called Barclay's this morning and confirmed over the phone, and they approved me for a $15k SL.
