you are right - I have 4 cards that carry a balance. The remaining cards are at zero. How everything my utilization is at 50% and that could be where the problem lies....plus the mortgage may pose a problem for my DTI ratio
I agree. Get your overall under 28.9% at least and youll open up a lot more of a chance for approval. The lower the better for both overall and individual cards. I think if you do that, as long as DTI is reasonable, you'll start seeing approvals for increases.
