I have an unavoidable expense coming up next month for $1800.
All my cards are not 0% apr cards or balance transfer card, i had it for discover when i got it but it has expired. I will be carrying that balance till i pay it off in 3 months and do not want to accrue interest.
I am looking to apply for BOA Cash Rewards card and my scores are in the range of 640(FICO), also i have been their customer since 6 years with Direct deposit set up.
Baddies - Have one 60 day late from Jan 2019 and two 30 day lates from Dec 2017.
Util - 4%
What do you guys think of my approval chances. Are there any other options i can try for. If i cant get anything by then, i will just be using discover as it has the lowest interest(still 22%) among the ones i have

Hi and welcome
Call Discover and ask for another 0%, 12 month promo.
Yeah, as long as you're not under a promo at the time Disco tends to offer up another 0% period for 12 months pretty easily.

I just called them and was turned down as i had 60 day late just 6 months back. They said to try back in another 6 months, they need atleast an year of good payments before they can activate that offer for me again.

Unfortunately, that recent 60-day late may hurt your chances with getting an approval from another lender too.
If its only for three months and only for $1800, just bite the bullet and charge it. The first month will be interest free
