UnionBank Platinum Visa Application (Update - APPROVED)

Update (6-10-22) - APPROVED.

Recently applied for this, and got the 7-10 day message. I've been in this game long enough to know that the 7-10 is usually a denial. Sucks, as I feel like my credit profile had been improving quite nicely. Was planning on using their great balance transfer offer to move a balance from one of my other cards - Their offer is 15 months, but they are also one of the rare ones who do it without the 3 or 5% balance transfer fee.

FICO 8 (as per Discover) is 772, with a 14% UTIL. Also hadn't applied for any cards (or had any other hard inquiries) in about a year.

Wow.

If you're looking for a great BT card look up the Wells Fargo Reflect.  If I was approved not sure why you wouldn't be... LOL... they have an 18 month 0% offer with no fee and is extendable to 21 months with on time payments. 

I saw on a financial website recently it was listed as the "best" BT card currently available.

Reflect is great, already have it - pretty much an unbeatable amount of time (21 months). I think I was one of the few to first post about getting it.

MUFG Union Bank underwrites their own credit cards. No affiliation with Elan. (Yet... They are in the process of merging into US Bank, but this is still a ways off.)
