Mine right now is Venture/V1.
I don't have NEARLY good enough scores but I know I'm so close at taking a stab.
1 [almost] fully paid CO
1 Unpaid collection (which will be shown as paid when I do apply).
Just had to vent as I have been looking on for weeks and have held in apping so far for so long.

What is on your report? besides those derogs, how many open accounts (revolving, installment loans etc). AAoA? Inquiries? Credit Utilization?
Capital One has a pre-approval page - I think you can Google for URL. Maybe you can get info there before diving into freezing lake.

3 open CC, one of them is the CO which has $260 left to pay off.
Other 2 are both CapOne already: $3300 CL and $500 CL - First received: 10/2014, 02/205 respectively, CLI on first one from $300 to $3300 this past month.
Every CapOne bill has been PIF almost right away.
This month's bill will be $1000 PIF right away.
1 $30 Medical Collection that could be paid off whenever I want it to be.
9 TU, 10 EX open student loan accounts.
Many have missed payments in the past, some of those had serious delinquent payments between 1.5 - 2.5 years ago.
Not a single payment has been missed in a year and a half on any loan.
All accounts are current.
2 TU, 5 EX HP.
1 Discover app decline a month or two back.
AAoA: 3 years, 7 months.
Oldest: 5 years, 7 months.
Current income: $45k, single, 24 years old. Monthly rent and bills: $800.
In June, it will be $51k income.
In a year and a half, anticipated income is $95k <---- I'm really tempted to garden until this point for better cards and SL's...
EDIT: Util is 12% TU, 19% EX. Both will be under 12% this month.

Yeah, I look at it regularly. Says no offers found, as I already have the Platinum and QS1 card.
But, I've heard of people getting no offers and still getting approved..
I also know CapOne is being extremely generous right now and it's killing me that I can't take advantage of it.

My big one is that I didn't notice the Amazon store card had 5% cash back until after I got the 3% rewards visa.
I doubled my number of revolving TLs this month so I'm going to garden for a year and boy is it frustrating.
As soon as 12 months go by I'm going for JCB Marukai, Navcheck, and Amazon.
Grumble grumble grumble
Doesn't it suck to think about the waiting game?
I'm doing it myself now, and I'm dreading it.
I just wish a year would pass by already!!!
Congrats on getting all those accounts though!

Let me help you with this before Nixon gives you advice I don't agree with.
Wait, don't do anything wreckless and add another HP to possibly all 3 bureaus. That sucks. Time heals and helps credit at the same time. Patience is very important. Also, I don't like Capital One so make sure to look around before you are sure you're set on this card.

1. Funny you mention Nixon, as I have started to read this forum and get more involved, I see his name everywhere and can't help but delightfully enjoy your comment. Nixon, I mean no offense by this, I think you should consider this banter as a form of endearment!
2. I would look for other cards for travel and the likes.. I have a 1.5% cash back already, but I fly anywhere between 6-10 times a year so the travel rewards is very attractive to me. I also know I have a good relationship with CapOne and I think I could establish a much higher CL with them than I could with another company.
Ironically, I work with BofA (consult on-site for them, so closely intertwined, however I'm not an employee of theirs) and I really want to get a card with them, but I have a snowball's chance in hell right now of that for a little while..
Maybe it's crazy, but I think by August this year, I could hit 700. I'm trying so hard to hold out until then, but geez is that tough...

Nixon is a wonderful individual with a different perspective on the credit world.
If you fly a lot you'd definately find a lot of use in travel cards.
A lot of times when you get a card from a different company, the companies you've had before offer you higher-than-normal CLIs to try to convince you to use their cards over your new ones. (IE: I had my GE/Synch card with a 3K CL, I then got my Amex BCE at a 5K limit and less than 3 mos. later I received an auto-CLI up to $4,500.
However there's a difference in APR of like 14 or so points so it really made no difference in my use of the cards.
BofA could be good for you if you get a card with them, especially if you bank with them. I hear this makes a great difference in how they treat you credit-wise.
