Chase auto-CLI isn't guaranteed. I'd temper expectations.

Umm...zero? Chase is known to continually review accounts. They however are only known to do auto-CLi's once in a blue moon. There is good reason any normal request is a HP. It is literally better just to apply for another card than ask for an increase. Also your scores say that your risky and should be limited in exposure for the time being.

This ^^^

Generally, Chase auto-CLIs are not very frequent and sporadic -- they can occur at different intervals, whether it's 6 months, 8, 10, 12, etc. There is really not much to gauge because these automatic decisions are algorithmic and not all accounts receive an auto-CLI despite usage and periodic reviews. You can place yourself on the radar for consideration by using the account quite a bit, though.

I hit my sign up bonus in 2 weeks and put about $2000 through it so far

Re: Upcoming Auto-CLI on my CFU

I really don't believe it's an auto-CLI with Chase. I have 2 cards (Slate since Mar 2011 and the Sapphire Preferred since Jun 2021) and I haven't received an auto-CLI on either card. Chase pulled Experian and Equifax but I still have a $400.00 paid charge off on Equifax that will purge 12/1/2022 and my scores are 800s except for Equifax . . . so don't think a CLI will automatically happen because it might not. I didn't want another hard pull so my CSP card is still at the starting limit of $21k. Best wishes on obtaining your desired credit limit.

To be honest, $2000 in about 4/5 months isn't all that much. That's between $400-$500 a month. If your current limit is only $500, then that means your approval was borderline to begin with. I'd suggest just keep using the card and paying it off and hope Chase gives you that auto-CLI at some point (but I wouldn't expect it at 6 months). Or, keep using the card and go for an HP CLI after at least 12 months, IMO.

^^^And This too^^^. Almost all of your posts are about trying to get a high limit on a credit card, yet according to your signature line you only have a secured card and the Chase with a very small $500 CL meaning as said you barely got in. So as also said temper high CL or CLI expectations and just take 6 months to a year to work the cards you do have with solid usage and solid monthly PIF and you eventually get where you want to be. Remember Credit building/Re-Building is a Marathon not a Sprint, it doesn't happen fast and takes time.

Im understanding this the hard way, starting my credit card journey late in the game at 30 years old and dealing with the "messy middle" its frustrating.

Shoot, I had to start over older than that! Yeah you're in that messy part but keep your head up and keep working on it. We've all been where you are now! Done right though it keeps getting better and easier though. Good luck!!
