I applied for the Chase Slate card to transfer over a balance I have on my CU cc and take advantage of the $0 fees in total. Once I submitted the application it says:
Thanks for applying.
We need to review your application a little longer.
We'll let you know our decision in writing as soon as we can. If we approve your application, you'll receive your card in the mail in 7-10 business days. Please don't resubmit your application.
Thanks for choosing Chase Slate®
I have read it might have something to do with a verification, but not sure. I tried to call lending, but they were already closed. Before I applied I called Chase (before they closed) and talked with a rep about what bureau they pull and she said it could me any of the 3. I did have a fraud alert on Experian, but submitted docs to have it removed last week. It might still be on there.
If anybody else has dealt with this response, please feel free to chime in

I would call its probably verification. Plus the fraud alert on experian. Chase pulled experian on my husband slate cc. Good luck.
Hope so. I input the acct that I want transfered, so if it was a straight denial they probably would have said it outright. I'll update tomorrow when I call
Denied. Spoke with lending and they said too many accts opened in a short period of time and derogatory information on file. I have a charged off BOA acct that is paid from 5 years ago and another charged off acct that I am challenging.
I received the Decision Pending last night and called in early this morning and the girl I spoke with said I was declined. On my break today I decided to call back and recon and the new woman I spoke with said it was a fraud alert that prompted the "decision pending" and that she would be happy to take another look at my application. She asked me a few questions and then placed me on hold for about 4 minutes. Then she came back on the line and said I was approved for $3k! Great news!
0$ balance transfer fees (I will transfer my cu cc balance), monthly FICO experian score, no annual fee and 0 apr for 15 months! I will keep this card for a year and then pc to a better one. Glad to be in with Chase! I have turned the tide in my credit existence! Thanks to all of your help on here! Never give up!
Awesome news! Just another reason never to take the first NO as a NO..Some people can just be in a bad mood or want to be an arse or difficult to deal with or on the other hand they could have a valid point, but if someone takes a HP from me they are going to at least get two recons before handing in the towel

You are right. This time around I didn't even have to fight. It was like so many stories I have read on here where they just ask a couple questions, placed me on hold and then boom: Approved for $3k!
Out of curiousity is this more than 5 accounts in the past 2 years for you? Or less? Thanks

Counting this new Slate card, this is my 8th new credit card account in less than 2 years.

Interesting....So they relaxing the 5 new cards in two year rule now on non co-branded cards? This is why I asked..
