Hi guys!
So i transfered $13,500 from my AA card to Prestige. It made reset the website counter in the citi website where usually i saw Soft Language CLI after 6 months. Now the system makes me wait 6 months, as the reallocation counts as a Hard Pull.
Now,
I see different languages in my AA and Prestige cards. When i go to the request limit increase AA tells me to wait until September to be eligible.
Prestige cards shows HP language, that a Credit Bureau report will be pulled.
What should i do?? Also request an increase in that HP language, so i use the same pull that was used Yesterday for the reallocation? Will it be the same pull?, does anyone know?
Or would you stay put and not make a fuzz of it that i wasted an HP on a credit reallocation and wait patiently until Sep.
(As a background info what i did was this:
Before: Now:
AA: $23,500 AA: $10,000
Prestige: $11,500 Prestige: $25,000
As i'm using more the Prestige and wanted to SD the AA, so that's why my initial question)
Unfortunately, they won't use the same pull as the reallocation.
Thanks, then i will stay still and wait my 6 months.
I didn't know for sure that it was usual credit reallocations would constitute hard pulls?
Just to be sure, you want to ask for a CLI, right?

Citibank does!
Amex & Chase do not.
ETA: I was a very rare case where I closed a Simplicity Card and got the CL reallocated to one of My DC cards without a HP.
This is not the Norm and I know I got extremely Lucky.
I was not asking for a CLI, i just wanted to rellocate my existing credit in a way that would make more sense for my card use and i wanted that to be done without reseting my CLI counter (The soft one you see on the website they do you every 6 months)
I was dissapointed that my rellocation used my CLI slot that i would have gotten a CLI in 2 months from now. So by making this changes it reset/messed with my cli time counter which i was not expecting! hehe.
So would i know beforehand, i would do the CLI request in the future 2 months from now... and then ask for the credit rellocation. Bummer hehe. But its ok! One has to be patient. I guess Citi is one of the weird banks that HPs you and then not allows you to ask your routinary soft cli because you wanted to shuffle the limits a bit. hehe.
