Us Bank Cash Rewards- Recon initial SL ?' - Update

So decided to call UW about reconning my initial SL of my Cash Rewards Pre-Approval I took..  Had some time to kill since I am home sick today.

Anyways found out what I had was a firm offer for being w/us bank for so long so it was a freebie 1k CL they gave is what the UW basically stated for having a long term banking relationship with them.. Long story short I said can we do anything about this SL do you guys recon it as lets get to the chase I wanted to get in with US Bank also I wanted to upgrade to the Cash+ in 3-6 months and he understood he had my CR up in front of him.

Long story short they pulled a 710 and said it wasn't a bad score and actually decent and he could see a few of my baddies asked what I wanted and I said anywhere form 3-5k and he said he will put it in for 5k from the 1k, same HP.. We talked a bit more and he said as a UW he saw no problem it being approved for 5k, but still had to go into manual UW but using same report.  Talked a few mins weather he thought baddies would hurt me and he said no as they are aged pretty well.  He said he expected me to get it, not sure why he couldn't just give it to me there.. he said about 3-4 days I should see it on my US Bank account if it happens, which as stated he sounded pretty confident that it would seeing my other TL's and my report in general..

Anyone have experience with Initial SL recon with US Bank?  Will be alot happier w/5k from my HP then 1k...  Regardless I am happy to be in with them, but 5k will be an easy PC to Cash+ after I believe he said I could do it in 3 months to possibly 6 months.

Does it usually take that long to reconned initial SL and surprised someone else had to review it than himself as he was a UW.  Us Bank is just a new experience to me.. Thanks for the weigh in / thoughts..  Thing that will kill me is the new accounts, but as stated a firm offer of 1k I already have so not like they will take that away or least I hope lol..  Was a really pleasant person to talk with actually and he understood all of what I wanted and why.

Also will update thread with outcome when I find out

Edit: update.. Whammy, no go on reconning initial SL.. see what letter says assume baddies still haunting me though.

Pretty confident I will get the 5k..  Then it is just time from there to PC to the Cash+..  Will indeed keep all posted, but I expect they will take all of those 3 days from other research I did..  They seem to move alittle slower at Us Bank .. Figured it would be easier getting a SP CLI now then having to deal with it down the line when I attempt to PC to the Cash+ and avoid a HP as well.

I just went through this about a month ago.  I applied for Cash +, but got the cash rewards for $1000.  I asked for a recon to $7500.  It took all 3 days but was approved with a $7500 limit (still the cash rewards though).

Ya I found your article/thread , thanks for chiming in though!...  Hopefully it might go a bit quicker with me since I bank with them and I actually applied for the cash rewards as it was a pre-approva and just wanted to get in with them as I know you can pc it after a short period or time..  Got in, now just reconning limit. Similiar incomes it sounds like from reading your thread > 100k..

You might be able to ask for a SP CLI if you have had yours since Dec?  I believe you can possibly get one every 6 months, obviously you don't want to take a HP if you can avoid it..  Also since they HP'ed me friday it was within the given time frame to use the same report.. Other reasearch as stated is you can call every 6 months I believe and request a sp CLI if available if you havne't already gotten one..  I could be wrong as just started to research them, but worth a try?
