Re: Using future income on CC application

You can bring it in, but they can't accept that as income verification. There's a reason they ask for pay stubs or previous year tax return.

If you're wanting the card now, put what you make now. If you want it in the spring, get it then and put what you make then.

Re: Using future income on CC application

That bring in a piece of paper that say 'Jeds a millionaire....or the ballplayer with the contract ' stuff is only on TV and maybe a wink from yesteryear....

I agree with the profile the OP most likely would be an instant approval, the dice roll is what happens if it comes up snake eyes and they request POI...then you're in a freaking pickle.

One thing I would NOT do is all in person, that BEGS for docs because cubicle ppl love touching paper and you're in a situation where you're saying

1) I gotta graduate, which hasn't happened quite yet and
2) I've gotta start a job sometime after during NEXT baseball season
Then I'll be straight but I'ma need that card Now!

Yeah that's cute😉

I can see me now as an UWer back in the day saying SURE,
so the kid came back in time from 6 months into the future and vouches for him/herself to get the account today...just jk around with you.

Enjoy your last couple of weeks of school and don't fret over some CC perks, you'll see a gazillion freaking offers over your working life, you'll be fine missing this one if you have to vs getting burned over this nonsense.

Btw
Since you have other cards, do you have POI at all, because even next spring if requested those year to dates of that new gig may cause further income data anyway.
