Victoria Secret Store Card ...

Interesting in applying for this card.  I have two secured cards reporting and one secured card hasn't reported yet. My scores vary from mid 500s to low 500 for EQ.  Can you let me know if you applied and received approval on this card and what your scores were at the time of approval?

Did you try the shopping cart trick to see if an offer pops up?

I don't think it will work for me since I have opted-opt of the prescreen offers

Re: Victoria Secret Store Card ...

I don't think it's worth the HP right now.

I believe they pull TU for the VS card, and this is one of the easier Comenity cards to get (from what people say). But I think that low/mid 500s may be pushing it. Maybe wait a few months until you have some usage and payments on your cards, and the other card reports.

I was approved in February with EX 620, TU 610 and EQ 580. I am almost certain TU was pulled. Limit is $350.

Capital One Savor: $6,000; PenFed Power Cash Rewards: $3,500; Nordstrom Visa: $3,300; PenFed Gold: $2,500; Capital One: $2,500; Mission Lane: $2,500; Credit One: $2,000;
Store Cards: Kohls $2,500; Home Depot: $1,000; Target: $900; LOFT: $700; Amazon: $350

Re: Victoria Secret Store Card ...

Agree. I was approved via SCT at 625ish scores on all 3 bureaus. A measly $150 limit. I ended up cancelling the card because I was so frustrated with the limit, and lack of growth.

Re: Victoria Secret Store Card ...

the waiting game every month is really driving me crazy!  I was always told how much patience I have but ummm where did they go?!?! credit rebuilding has turned into a new hobby and I think I need to find another one in between the monthly updates with FICO.  thanks for the responses!

Re: Victoria Secret Store Card ...

Oh man it is so hard!  I wake up in the middle of the night, hoping I see a notification that my score has increased around the time my two cards report.  It has to get better! LOL!  I will take a break from annoying myself in hopes to have an increase with every monthly update.  Ugh!  I can't torture myself anymore...

Re: Victoria Secret Store Card ...

I think my scores were in the low or mid 600s.

They only approved me for $350. And it hasn't grown. I've requested an increase and was denied.
