Victoria Serect Card Pending

I did an application for a VS card online on 5/11/16 and got the infamous 7-10 letter msg, today I call to check the status of my application and after being on hold for a while the rep said it is still pending and to wait the 7-10 period and look for a letter in the mail she also said to follow the instructions on the letter in the upper right hand corner when the letter is recieved. I then ask " So this isnt a defninte denial is it? and she said oh no it not a defninte......Leaves me wonderig whats going on or if she can really see something and just wont give me the info she ses's for other reasons, im so nervous lol

They may want to verify residency, so perhaps a utility bill. Could be something very simple. Positive thoughts!!!

yes positive thoughs but also nervous, lol this is my fav store and would be great to have this card. I will just sit and wait......lol

The Rep said there should be a letter with additional instructions on it thats needed but there is a diffrent number to call to follow those instructions and its all included on that letter.

I had fraud alerts on all 3 bureaus for the past few yrs, she said that is most likley the reason. I dont see an inquiry on my credt so im wodering if they even ran it and wont move forward unless i verfy who i am an then pull it???? is that possible? i did not do the SCT...

VS card is kinda weird when I got card they didn't have a pull on my credit report. Comenity I think does soft pull for approval. It didn't show on my CR till it show up as "new account"
