@Anonymous wrote:Gotcha, what was the sign-up bonus you were mentioning? I am not going to app this card anyway, I just got a US Airways and a Citi AAdvantage card which are the only airlines I fly. I went to the website though, to see what the fuss was about and I didn't even see a sign-up bonus.
Saw something on the Virgin America website about it. There are two different versions of the card. One has a $49 AF and the other one is $149 and the bonus points range from 10K to 15K for 1K spend.
Not sure if I can link it here though.
No worries, I'll dig it up on Google.
@mattayy wrote:Hello,
Whats the average score for the Virgin America credit card? I fly Virgin all the time and I know right now I probably couldn't get approved but eventually I would like to!
My Fico score for Equifax which is what they pull is at 638. Just pulled the trigger on this card tonight with that score showing on here with one Cap One charge off almost paid off and they approved me with a $5000 starter limit automatically. They gave my Equifax score at 669 which is way higher than what myfico shows so I'm not sure what model score they're pulling but you're not that far off from me so who knows?
Just for general background, I have only one secured credit card with a subprime lender that I got when I was at 435 in August with 7 months payment history so I was surprised to say the least. I have no inquiries on Equifax though and it's clean outside the one CO. YMMV with this one.
