Correction Wells Fargo does not do a hard pull for credit increases. It is soft pull only for credit increase request.

No, this is incorrect @firefox100. It is not always a SP, even if the account has been open for >12 months.  Just because your experience has been SP, doesn't mean it is for everyone.

WF will HP if the account isn't eligible for a SP CLI and the individual decides to pursue the CLI regardless. If that is the case, then a HP is expected.

Ok I may have said it wrong, they will not do hard pull with out telling you first. When I have called in for an increase I have ask is soft pull and I was told they will try do give you an increase with soft pull and if they can not do it with soft pull will be ask if you want to head with a hard pull.

Right. This is how WF does it.

The good thing, for those who don't want the HP 'surprise', they will at least tell you in advance before HP happens.

Another thing that I like about Wells Fargo is when you make payment using the app. youget immediate credit and available credit to use even if you are not using WFC checking account to make the payment.

I hope it is Ok to ask this question in this thread, What is the MAx credit limit before it must be manual review. I am 25K, US bank stops at 25K, what is wf policy.
