WF Propel Approval Tips?

I tried researching what stats I need for this card, but I haven't found much. Is Wells Fargo inquiry, account, or velocity sensitive? How much would it matter if I create a bank account with them, and apply within a week since the Propel is going under soon?

Opening a checking account for a week really wouldn't improve those chances by any means, unfortunately.

WF can have mixed outcomes, but it's all profile-dependent since individuals have been denied for the above reasons you've cited.  Then, again, we don't really know a whole lot about your profile so you can give it a try and see how it fares for you.

@Straed I just got approved for mine on 3/18/21. My stats are all up to date. I had no prior relationship with Wells so. You may want to add some of your profile here so others can get a gage of what your looking at. Good luck either way whatever you decide.
