WF application question

Just want to ask if anyone tried to apply for a 2 Wells Fargo credit card at the same time.  Would they pull Once or Twice? I'm interested with the Autograph and the Reflect card for balance transfers. What are the chances on getting approve for 2 cards?

Re: WF application question

They'll pull once... I applied for the Active Cash and Reflect about 7 months ago.

Approved for Reflect... denied for the other.  Also note that if you are getting a SUB on a card they probably aren't going to allow you to get the bonus on a 2nd card.  I thought about applying for the Active Cash recently and it tells me before I finish the app that because I am currently in a SUB with the Reflect (0% for 21 months) that I am ineligible for a SUB from a different card for a year.

YMMV.

Re: WF application question

@TRC_WA Thanks so much for the info.  That makes sense.  Looks like I wont be able to use the 18 months zero APR if I get the Autograph.

Re: WF application question

@TRC_WA

I applied last week for Reflect, and I was just approved today after identity verification.  If I apply for BILT today, would it still be the same HP?  They pulled TU for Reflect.

I'm not sure if it will be the same HP but I can tell you that if there is any sign up bonus for the Bilt you won't be eligible.   I think it's a 6 month wait between approvals... that's what I was told by a rep when I was approved for the Reflect but denied for the Active Cash last year.

Re: WF application question

@TRC_WA

Thank you for that information.  I guess, just like they say on their website, it seems there is a hard 6-month rule between approvals.

I just had a quick thought about saving a HP if I could.  Smiley Happy

FYI: Bilt has no sign-up bonus of any kind.   It is a nice card though, and it is definitely on my radar.
