WF denied due to too many cards in last 24 months

Applied for WF Autograph Journey and denial reason I got was "Number of revolving bankcard traders opened in last 24 months"

I am 6/24. I heard they are tightening up like Chase but my last new account at time of app was in August.

I guess it's good to know that I wasn't denied due to the rest of my profile, just too many new accounts.

My recent app spree (added CCUKY and Fidelity) mostly got me the cards I wanted, so my plan was to garden until I'm under 5/24 for Chase anyway.

The too many new accounts is an "automatic decline" which doesn't necessarily mean you would be approved even with 0 new accounts. There are several factors that are considered.
