As long as you put the app in on the same day for the second card, you don't need to get the result back the same day - it'll still be one hard pull. I applied for the CSP and within about 5 minutes applied for the Chase Amazon card, and didn't get a decision back on either one for about a week. It was still only 1 hard pull.

Edit: to above poster: was he denied? Kinda sounded to me like the app is in a pending status, but maybe I misunderstood. OP, if the app submitted and didn't give you a final result, it should just be processing. Otherwise it kinda sounds like it just glitched on you in some way and didn't let you submit it at all - in which case just reload the browser and try again lol.

I just read his response. I got ahead of myself and thought he got denied because he was asking for help again.

Then maybe it was just a system error. CLose the browser and start fresh. If you still have a problem, then call the credit card applications line and do it over the phone.

Re: WHAT CREDIT CARD SHOULD I GET?

Thank you all. I just tried to refresh the page and even use a different landing page to apply and I get the same message Smiley Sad

I should be no where near my credit limit though since I was told you can be approved for up to half of your annual income.

If it's still happening, then call and apply on the phone. A rep should be able to put your application through.

Re: WHAT CREDIT CARD SHOULD I GET?

If you're applying online for two cards on the same day for one HP use a different browser to apply for the other card. That or call them and apply that way.

It's YMMV for that. Different profiles yield different outcomes as far as what Chase is willing to extend customers.

Re: WHAT CREDIT CARD SHOULD I GET?

I'd try a different computer, or at least a different browser or if not open an in cog it tab maybe even use a VPN before calling a rep and trying to apply on the phone. The phone app will work, although I'm not 100% sure that doing so won't generate a second hard pull. The implication I've heard before is that you have to do the 2 apps online to get the pulls to combine.

Re: WHAT CREDIT CARD SHOULD I GET?

OK so I just went on my phone and tried to apply.

I got a thank you for your request. and was told that it needs to review the app and will send me a decision by US mail in 30 days.

Sounds like a decline.

Should I call now?

That's not necessarily a decline. If you're impatient like me, then call and speak to an analyst. If not, wait till you get an update. You might get an approval without having to do anything.
