I got this card in Dec. 2021 with a credit line of $3,000. I have seen some people report of a auto CLI at 6 months so my question is did Cap One just pass me by or should I request a CLI online? Also, if I do it online will hit be a HP or SP because I sure don't want them hitting 3x again. My credit has improved over the time I got the card per there (Credit Wise) table. I started with a credit wise score of 614 and today it says 734 and my Fico8 Ex 758. This card I use as my everyday card and I avg. around $1,800 to $2,000 per month and PIF. I guess I just don't understand Cap One or maybe this is just a bucketed card?
Any tips or advise would be appreciated.
You mash at every 6 months on CapOne cards. It's SP. Why wait for auto? Do it now!
@CardHunter You should search the threads on Capital One . . . they appear to give CLIs less than other credit card companies!!!
Actually $3,000 is a very good SL for Walmart card from Cap One.
With your high percentage spend, I would try the CLI after every statement cuts.
There is no Bucket perse for this card.
Thanks for the info guys, I just tried and got a "we will get back to you in 2 - 3 days" LOL. Oh well, worth a try anyways I guess.

Oh but there is. A lot of posters have reported that CLIs have dried up ever since Cap One took over the portfolio for WM.
Well, I got my answer which I do not understand at all. I use this card everyday and pushed this card to $2,000 + some months and PIF each month. Do they want me to max it out every month or something? I just don't get Cap One... *sigh*

Well then I stand corrected!
The capital one Walmart card is a Good to Excellent tiered card. I started at $500, in 6 mos it Auto increased to $750, after 12 months, the cli button appeared in the app (I clicked it) and it jumped to $3750 cli.
I maintained 30% spend and pif 2 or three times per month for the 12 months.
Seemed to work out fine for me.

Very nice, thanks for the info. Im really starting to think there is something about my profile Cap One just doesn't like. I mean all of my FICO scores are from 796 - 811 when I applied for the CLI (FICO 8 & 9) and income is $110,000 with 4% debt. I think im going to try the 30% spend on this card and just move my new Penfed card as my everyday driver card and see if that works.
