Walmart CLI denial!

Bitter...party of one. Oh, that's me! I've been reading about all the huge credit line increases being given out on the Walmart store card. In some cases before the card is even in hand. Of course, I want some love too. I called credit solutions, provided the requested info and asked for $10k. DENIED! No counter. Was told I would get a letter in the mail. I know my account is new (just made my first payment) but it seems everyone else is partying it up and I'm outside in the rain. FYI...the number I called is1 877-294-7880.

Just give it a little time...get some history with them behind you and just maybe they'll show you some luv.  My Walmart limit is very low...but I don't use it often enough to justify asking for more...and the little spend that the card gets is at Sam's Club...I can't remember the last time I actually swiped at a Walmart.   Hang in there and you'll get there just like some of the others on the forum...

Walmart and amazon are personal allies. Its pretty straightforward no means no. you can hit the love button and if you get a weak little increase you do a follow-up phone call and shoot for the moon but if you got no on the phone call, wait and get 3 more months of solid activity and payoffs in.

They might need a bit more history.   My Sam's Club MC was the same way, but they budged a little after 2 1/2 months.   After another 3 months, they budged more.   Try again next month.

I have had it for a year, and have been stuck at $400 for that time.  I don't shop there enough to justify keeping it around, and Amazon is much better for me (even though their limit is only $800, I foresee a better chance of that going up).  Plus Prime Rewards.

Thanks folks. I'm just getting started with Synchrony. I was declined for Amazon but approved for Care Credit! I will let those 2 work for a few months and then try again for a CLI. It's a good start I suppose.

i also had a small sl but used card for small purchases for three months, decided to call in after that time and recieved a 5,500 increase! just be patient and youll get there.

your scores are to low.  get them up and synch will raise your wally limit.

edit:  with a 586 TU, i would be thankful they issued me a card.  normal is mid 600's

With scores of 583, 586 and 609 you shuld just be happy that they issued you a card at all. Work on getting the scores up and getting some solid history and payments with the card and Synchrony will likely show you some love down the road.

I've had my Wally & Amazon store card for nearly 2 yrs at 400 & 700 without any love,(No matter which method I tried), And last month finally got some love.

Did asked for 5K and countered 3500. ( Didnt have the nerve to shoot for 10K )
