Walmart Card

I am interested in applying for the Walmart card for the special financing offers. I would prefer the store card, not the MasterCard, I have plenty of credit cards. Do I have a choice in which card I get? Or am I stuck with the MasterCard if that's what I qualify for? TU 684, only other synch card is Amazon 6k, 1 year old. Received prequalified Walmart offer in mail.

Im pretty sure the financing works on both cards. At least they are both on the financing coupon you can print. So it wouldnt matter which you were approved for.

Either way, when you apply they first look at the master and if you dont make the cut they look at the store card. As far as I've read you need a 700+ score to get the mastercard. But they use their own scoring method so fico is somewhat moot there.

I just applied for the Walmart credit card with a special offer of $50 eGift today and was approved for $1,100. The $50 eGift card was offered betweenDecember 17 and end on the 18 at midnight.
So hurry and apply to get it. I can't wait to receive my $50 eGift card. It's worth it!

For those who were approved, what were your scores at the time?

I just applied for the Walmart CC and My credit score is around 640-660. I also have chevron/tech gas card and amazon store card with synchrony bank so it also help.

I was approved for $400 back in Feb. My scores were upper 500 / low 600 at the time. Just called in for the first time to request CLI and now it's at $6k. My scores are upper 600's now.

When I was approved last month, my scores were low 600's for 800.

Online approval is pretty slick and easy.  Approved today for Walmart Mastercard $2,600 limit with 690-700 across the board.  I do have other accounts such as Amazon & Paypal with them.
