Hello:
I have had the cards a few months and have made thousands in purchases and paid in full before the statments came out and every time I hit the luv button or use chat, I am denided a increase. I heard you can call in to credit department. Do you think it is worth it for me to try this? I do not "need" the increase but doing it for over all credit picture. Thanks! Also, do anyone have the current number to reach the credit department directly?
Definitely call. I was approved for I think 2k, called that same day or the next (can't remember) and asked for 5k and got it. I've hit the CLI button several times since (four months ago) with no luck, and even called just last week to ask for a CLI and was denied. Then I called again last night and asked for 15k, they offered to bump me up to 6k.
I have the Amazon store card as well but have been denied online a couple of times and on the phone once, I've only put 20 bucks through the card since I got it in April so I wasn't exactly shocked.
Always call or during business hours. log into your account online and hit chat. either way they will help you. The luv button is useless. Just got denied on the 9th of aug for cli on walmart. on the 16th tried chat and upped to 10k. so that is the way to go. Pick the Credit solutions number from backdoor for both accounts. They will find who you are.
I have had both cards for about 5-6 months. All CLI denied by chat and love buttons. I don't feel like calling b/c I don't want to be denied in person. LOL.

It's the easiest thing in the world. You tell them you want a CLI, they read you an income disclaimer and ask what you make and how much you're looking for and then put you on hold for a minute or two and come back with a decision. Takes just a couple of minutes.
What is the current number to reach them?
