Re: Weird BoA application process

Congratulations! You got a really good card, no AF, no FTF, 1.5 points toward travel. The CLI will come after you prove your payment patterns, and BofA is a good bank to have. I'm considering asking to PC one of my BofA cards to the Travel Rewards in a few months. Not sure it will fly, but worth the call.

Re: Weird BoA application process

I applied for the BOA 123 card.. denied. Called recon and approved for $1K. It shows on my BOA checking now. I hope that they don't decide to change their minds!

Re: Weird BoA application process

On Friday I applied for BankAmericard 123 Cash Rewards after getting a preapproved offer, went online and submitted everything and the site said "we cannot come to a decision at this time".  Called the number on the offer just in case they needed verification, the lady pulled up my app and immediately said "Congratulations you're approved for 15K, your card will be mailed to you in 7 to 10 days".  I was stunned at first as that is the most I've had on a credit card ever.  Regardless, just out of curiosity I called the app status number and looked online today (Easter) and they said my application was still under review.  I'm not sure if this is because of the holidays and the system didn't update or maybe there's a mishap somewhere.  Can anyone weigh in on this?

Thanks!

Re: Weird BoA application process

fwlau: It will update either overnight Sunday or Monday. It's just the way the system is over the weekend. Sometimes part of it will update at one point and then several hours later another part. Same with payments. It will show my payment but still show a balance. It takes a bit for everything to update together.
