Very weird keep us updated.

My daughter and son are both members. I was thinking about joining at the end of the month. They seem to be pretty conservative.

They always seem to pull EX.

I have seen mixed reviews.  I have read about people getting big limits even with derogs on their reports and low 600 scores but then others who are clean and in the 800's being denied.   It seemed like many denials have been from new members.  They went through a couple waves of people coming out of the woodwork and applying for their two-fer CC and CLOC years ago and perhaps are still gun shy.  I have been a member since that wave 10 years ago and have yet to apply.  I will likely go for the founders card at some point, but not yet.  In short, no direct experience, just second hand news but they have handed out big limits to anyone with a pulse in the past.

Re: Weird PSECU Experience

They were, in many ways, mysterious like NFCU when it comes to approvals and limits. That said, over the past 6 months, maybe a year, they seem to have tightened up quite a bit and seem to be more predictably following logic according to creditworthiness.

Maximum limits with them is also on $30k across all cards. They pull EX FICO Score 2.

Re: Weird PSECU Experience

That does seem odd AJC,I applied three years ago by way of joining some local

club for membership. It is in my home state so that was available to me. I applied for

a credit card and they told me I could have 30K credit limit. I split it between

the Founders Card and the Classic Visa.Never had a problem. Great CU.I can call

and ask a question and they never laugh when I don't know my membership # <who does>

So they're easy to talk to if you have allready taken the HP and want some answers give em  a call.

Either way,

Good Luck :-)'

Cheers
