Scores look good. Do you have already have a relationship with WF?
No.
Is a thread that addresses Wells' relationship banking?
Not necessarily. Just a lot of dp's on it helping your chance of approval. If you don't have a lot of new accounts and recent inquiries you have a really good chance of being approved based on your scores.
OP has 5 cards in under 2 years
I don't care much for WF so no idea if that amount falls into "a lot" of new accounts

Chances are decent. However, I would shoot for a checking bank bonus (they are quite good) and then apply to the CC to maximize your chances.

Agreed cehcking bonus is great. Give the checking account about 2 months and then apply. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
I tried back around the first part of April for Propel as I have never ever delt with WF in my lifetime and figured why not give a try. No was the answer.
"We are unable to offer you a credit card for the following reasons;
1. Ratio of credit bureau trades with a balance greater than zero. (We look at the ratio of open AND closed credit accounts that have a balance of greater than zero in the last six months.)
2. Number of revolving bankcards reported by credit bureau. (We look at the number of bank credit cards in your credit bureau report.)
They pulled EX which was 756. I think they did not like the inquiries (19 in 2 years, 6 in the past 6 months, and the amount of credit I have available overall with a few small amounts that I pay off monthly just to keep cards active, and the above were "lame excuses", lol.

How many new accounts in the past year?
As for me, I've had three new accounts in the past year: one in October, two in December.
