I've banked with WF for nearly 20 years. Both business and personal checking accounts with an average of $25k deposited.... I was approved for a Amex and Discover. But can't get a WF visa to save my life.

What are their reasons for the denial?
OP,
Given the length of your relationship with them, it may be worth reaching out to inquire about any current CC opportunities. Have you already applied for one or just checking pre-approval? and if so, were you denied? If you were denied, what was the reason given to you?

Not sure if you have a BK13 showing on your reports?
I am also not sure how sensitive WF would be to that, if that is the case?

others like @FireMedic1 and @SouthJamaica might be able to give you better guidance?
Only business I had with them was being sued in the 90's for a defaulted SL which they garnished me. I just applied for the checking and went for the CC after I told them I left Chase for their early DD. All in one visit to the branch. Dont know what could be the holdup. Somethings spooking them. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Any baddies at all?
Welcome to the club
No bad accounts. CH13 discharged nearly 2 years ago and discharged 16 months early.
I posted this elsewhere but it is applicable to this thread:
WF customer here since 1987 (through their merger partner First Interstate) I was a mere kid when I opened the account. First Interstate merged with WF mid-90s..
Had my primary checking and savings with them until 2017. In the couple years leading up to my 2017 BK, I was treading water and bounced a few checks to the point WF cancelled my Overdraft Protection.
I also had a WF CC from 2017 and IIB that card.
Prior to BK, I made BofA my primary bank. (Of course, I declared every cent of my accounts to the trustee.)
Filed my 13 in April 2017.
Got my DC in January 2021...16 months early.
I assumed I was blacklisted by WF. BofA remains my primary bank. I only have a couple thousand total in WF.
I applied in November 2022 for a WF BILT card. I assumed it would be a denial.
Instant approval for WF BILT with an SL of $30,000.
Go figure. 🤷🏽♂️

I got the Platinum and Reflect while in the last year of my Ch 13... so it's definitely possible. I never had any luck getting CLI's though... always citing "checking account balance too low" which is pretty common with WF it seems. They use your account balances against you. My average daily was around $1500...much less than $25k so OP might dodge that one.
I closed my WF checking/savings recently and moved it all to NFCU. My recent Bilt denial was "too many recently opened accounts" so I'm making progress!
I have a friend who worked in the Wells Fargo sales department and he said they are just as dumbfounded as the rest of us as he's seen someone with a 670 get approved but a customer with a 780 get declined.
