Sorry about that, wasn't meaning to end up posting the same stuff on both threads, tried to keep them separate.
Thank you! Fingers crossed that they reach out to me soon with good news

Its not a bad sign, it could just be some verification questions or just need a closer look. Amex will tell you if you have been denied flat out or not on the website.

Fred030, isn't the first number an Equifax number? And then the second number is 11 digits and not 10... Which numbers do I call to ask them about verification?
And thanks Skye12329!
Thanks to everyone for being so amazing, fingers crossed. I believe there's a fraud alert placed on my reports currently (I had to dispute a mixed file with my sibling on my Equifax report), and so that's probably the hold up there. Do I call them or will they call me?

Well they most likely pulled Experian so unless there was an issue with Experian i dont know if that would be the issue.
Granted they could have pulled Equifax and yes that would be the issue posisbly, but they mainly pull Experian.
Don't fraud alerts though get shared between bureaus? So an alert because of a dispute on Equifax would mean that Experian would've gotten the alert (even though everything on that report is correct).
Not necessarily. It depends, if you contacted the lender and disputed something with the lender directly such as disputing a charge or something then it would go to all 3 bureaus.
If you disputed it or froze just Equifax then its just Equifax. Sometimes they do contact the other bureaus but usually its you contact them each.
No one will know for sure except for you if you checked your report and Amex when you call them.
Huge thanks to everyone! I just had to call then number on the application status page, and I was out in contact with a very nice CSR who just had to validate my information for me (due to an alert I had on my file), and I was approved! I had the card expedited to me, and am so excited to begin using it! (Responsibly of course )
I couldn't imagine getting in with American Express this early in my credit journey, and so thanks to everyone who helped me on my way here! Just gotta keep going up from here! (But will probably sit in the garden now for a while until I have a more stable, substantial income).
