What are my Amex Approval Chances?

I have a similar question but couldn't figure out how to make a new thread.

So after lots of paying down balances, closing and opening new cards I finally have a decent credit file and score, but with about 35 inquires, most of which I've gotten since maybe October, majority are from this month. I really want an AmEx, I applied for the Green Card but got denied because I normally carry balances. I have a 714,EX which is who they pull, 18% utilization total credit lines of $13,500, no baddies but LOTS of inquiries. How long should I wait to apply and when I do, which one would be easy to get? I have a cash back card and airline card, so I've been eyeing one of their hotel branded cards. Any feedback?

To answer your question, 35 inqs is allot since October.  Did you add new TLs too?  In either event, you need to let those inqs age for at least 6 mos and perhaps a year
