You need the cards to build your file and also thicken it. I'd go for the another card so that they can all age together if I were in your shoes.
Leaning Discover IT....good way to go, yes-its-me? Thanks.

Yes, good way to go and a very good card. Apply and report back. They will likely be pulling EQ.
Oof...that's my lowest FICO score. It looks it is a toss up whether they pull TU or EQ...

I've been reading and following this thread
!st off congrats
2nd Yes-its-me has taken you by the hand and given you A1 class advice and I concur for a few reasons
1) one more HP is not going to kill you vs the rewards and long term benefits
2) I don't see any reason that you won't be approved
So pick the card that best suits your profile with Yes-its-me backing and GO FO IT ![]()
Good luck

@Agreed @MJ... OP gets scared methinks... But building credit is not for the faint of hearts. You either want it or not...
OP, since you already app'd with Amex, you can get a charge card with the same pull, if you're interested in one.
And $2500 is a good starting limit for someone with a limited history.
Got approved for Discover IT but only a CL of $1000, which is a bit of dissappointment.

Very nice.. Congrats!! After 2-3 months, click the CLI button as Discover is growing quickly with people. Remember, you only have 8 months of history and these approvals are a solid start for you.
Alot of people don't get such opportunity so very good job!!!!
