hello All,
what are my chances of getting an American Express card? I filed chapter 7 bankruptcy 8 years ago, since then I've never been late on payments. My scores are Experian 738, Transunion 720 and equifax 710. Salary is $200k+ plus. My worry is that the bankruptcy is still on my credit report until 2023.
Did you by chance burn Amex in BK?
No Amex was not included in my bankruptcy. I've never had an Amex card before.
Since you didn't IIB AMEX and your BK7 is well past their 61 month threshold, having the BK still reporting won't be a dealbreaker.

You should be golden, especially for a revolving card. It is said that charge cards are easier approvals but I (and at least one other member here) have found the opposite to be the case.

Then you should be ok.

Looks like you should be good, have you tried the pre-approval page? Those seem to be pretty solid.
