What are my chances of getting back in with chase now? Be my underwriter please.

I would go ahead and app now. Your charge off was small,  nine years ago, and you paid it right away. Your files are clean, your scores are plenty strong for approval. If you get denied by the computer, I think this would be a relatively easy recon by talking to a human.

recon brought charge off up. I managed to smooth talk. Currently on hold waiting.

Ok WHEW just got off the phone with recon rep she was so nice.

She brought up the charge off, basically saying everything looks excellent and scores and history. However the charge off is preventing her from pushing it through. SO she decieded to go ahead and reccommend me for review. And stated that based on what shes seen i will most likely get approved. 

She insisted that my credit looked "Excellent" and she noted that everything looked positive so the "Charge off specialist" can see that i have reestablished my credit. I kept asking what my chances are and she kept reassuring me that it was very very good. I was really anxious on the phone, and she kept trying to calm me down letting me know i have a good report and not to worry, her recommendation would take care of things.

I kept telling her i was concerned because about being denied kept telling me not to worry, in 24 hrs or less i will know for sure and the chances are pretty high ill get back in. This is the furthest ive gone with getting back in chase in the past 9 years. SO im curious to see the outcome. ill be checking my account every 5 mins. 

Anyone ever had to go through this process? 

Is reccommended for review a positive experience. Ive never heard of stuff being sent to a CO dept for review. Pretty unique here.

I really wanted a sig... But a low starting line wont be too bad, i plan on getting a CSP if i get in. So i could xfer some of those to funds to my freedom assuming its approved for over 5k.

If my freedom is lower than 3k im going to be bummed though. But id be so happy to be back in!

Try chase pre approve Web but if I were you I will wait 6 more moths.

Take what you can get to get in door. Then let it grow.  I got a 2k freedom a month ago. To get in door. No sweat. No my report just got cleaned up. Last collection deleted. Not sure I even want csp now. Hyatt or aarp looks better to me
