I added my DW as an AU on the Lowes card and she got her card today.
I finally got my Sallie Mae WMC!
Got my second Chase United MileagePlus Explorer card mailer today. 50k miles offer. Again.
The first one was in January, after I re-upped some old miles in the account, basically refreshing my relationship with United. That mailer expired end of February.
Recently I activated a credit card on the United version of the dining plan. So you use that credit card at certain restaurants, which I did one time, and United miles get added to your MileagePlus account. Same program works with Delta, but each credit card you have can only point to one of the programs at any one time. Still, it's a good way to route some new points to your United FF account to keep it active.
So, my recommendation, if you want to get the 50k miles offer from Chase United card is to find a way to add points to your United MileagePlus account. The dining or shopping programs should work fine. Then watch your mailbox ![]()
I also got a phone call today from US Bank, a quick review of my relationship with them. Mortgage, checking account that is active with $500 per month going through it, and three credit cards. And still, she had two credit cards that were showing on her screen as "suggested". Not fantastic cards, but still, I've got $36,500 in credit lines on these cards, and they're still asking me to take on more.
