HI Aduke! Sorry, I was in a hurry when I posted the approval! SL was $2,500, which will work, but was lower than I hoped...banks aren't the same as NFCU. lol

I am happy because of the 5% rotating category feature...very nice.

Now they have an offer on my account for a Slate ?? Same screen, just enter income... must not realize I just got the Freedom... not gonna bite.

I have been on a role and its garden time now.  I really am pleased with the cards I have and ability that I've never had...very comforting!

Stay away from the Slate!!!! Useless!!!! No points, no nothing...

Agreed, I see no reason to ever have that card.

Slate is not useless for balance transfers and has a 0% APR on purchases for 15 months. Also no BT fee

Agreed, but I get those offers all the time from rewards cards. Im using a bt from USAA right now good for 15mos, my BOA Rewards cards just sent me checks for same deal and my QS also just sent me checks for a 15mos deal and they all have good rewards.

My Slate offer is going to have a 24.24% rate after the 15 mos and no rewards. My NFCU Platinum with a 24k cl is 11.25% and never a BT fee and the Sig Rewards card is 9k cl and 10.25% and never a bt fee. My freedom card I just got has 5% rotating categories, 1.5% everything else, and a 15mos, zero apr offer on bts and purchases.

I have always heard the Slate is a BT card, but to me, the Slate should either have a spanking interest rate after the intro period, no bt fee, rewards or something to make it different.

Re: What does a "Chase Offer" mean?

If and when I get the CSP, ima roll both my Freedom and Slate into it. If I don't get the CSP, the Slate will get rolled into the Freedom. Outside of BT's, that card is, again, useless.
