Glad to read about Citi experiences and data points!

I got approved for Citi AAdvantage as well as I was booking a flight with AA. Automatic approval $6300. SInce the approval (3-4 weeks) i have received multiple Pre-Selected Offers from Citi. Too afraid to try...... Had a recent denial from Chase for Disney Card. 2 old judgements (Paid)
I for one am happy to see this thread resurrected, as Citi data points are always relevant.
My wife has had decent luck since our BK in 2012. She got the Sears Card MC, A secured Visa and most recently the Costco Visa. Tried for several Bank cards (legacy) and was denied due to BK. Tough nut to crack
I'm surprised to hear so many people have had trouble getting a Citi card. Citi was one of the first banks that took me back after I hit rock bottom.
I made some poor decisions 2011-2012 which resulted in multiple 90+ day lates on my report and my score plummeting into the mid 500s. In 2013, I applied for the Citi TYP on a whim because I needed something I could use besides a debit card. At the time, all I had left was a Cap1 which reported a $750 limit but was locked to $0 available due to lates and an old Barclay's card with a nearly maxed out $2400 limit from before my mess began. Instantly approved for $6000.
Btw... that denial from Chase for Disney card was an approval in March 2017 😁😁😁
