So, today Dec 03, I called the 605 EO number and spoke to a very nice gentleman. He looked at my information and noted also that the only thing was less than year.
I explained my case, and why Citi Double Cash Card was a great fit for me.
I explained that I had spoke to the reconsideration rep, and that she saw that there was nothing except for the "limited history", and that was one thing she could not override for approval in the system. She told me if she had that authority she could not see why I couldn't be approved and to call back in a few months and they could approve me then. Thus, why I called the number to ask for help. He said he agreed that there was nothing but that one item of limited history. I have 11 months.
He said that they will look over the application again and see if they can approve an acocunt for me. He said either him or someone from his office will call me Tuesday or Wednesday next week and let me know. I thanked him, and since he seemed interested in our conversation, I went on to talk to him about my 3 year plan, and he thought it was a good plan. After that, before I hung up, he said, If we can open this account I will call you personally with the good news.
Seemed like a really nice man, and seemed genuinely interested in helping. Maybe I'm naive also, but keeping my fingers crossed. Will update after I hear what happened.
Just read the whole thread, totally worth it. I'd really like to know what happened to his reconsideration 👆👆👆 how you going to just leave us hanging?!? 😣😐
Cliffhanger s
I got in with 702 FICO. I have a foreclosure , a 130k charge off and a repo. 10 inquiries on Experian in last 6 months and I think 14 new accounts in last 6 months showing on Experian. They gave me 11500 limit. So I would say not very inquiry, new accounts, or baddie sensitive. Probably just look at score, income and utilization, aaoa. I am showing 4 percent utilization on Experian. 6 years of aaoa. I have never declined when someone pulled Experian even when score was in 520s.
