Hi, Yes I just noticed that 1 is reporting paid already and my score increased by 13 points on Equifax- waiting for it to report on the others. Hopefully the one being deleted will be just as fast

I applied for a PENFED membership today.  I wanted to have a membership so that when my last collection falls off this coming month, I can be ready to apply for one of their outstanding cards (from what I've been reading on this site, penfed is a pretty good CU) anyways, they approved me for the membership, (saving and checking) plus the $500 overdraft protection.  I didn't even ask for it, the nice lady just gave it to me without even asking.  Yay!  I thought that was pretty cool that I qualified for that, being I've been denied for everything and their mothers!  lol

I'll keep you two updated with my last collection pending deletion.  I can tell you that my scores have went up almost 80pts.  I am  35 points shy from 700 across the board.  Hopefully when this $2738.00 falls off, I'll gain that "35 points" (fingers crossed)

@Anonymous, congrats on getting in with PenFed. In my experience, great CU to be a member. Once the last negative gets removed it should open the doors to a variety of their lending products including their CCs.
