Second card I ever applied for was the Amex ED. I don't recall what my score was at the time of submitting my application. but I probably had somewhere around 2 or 3 years credit history and was probably over 30% utilization. I could be wrong though.
My Application for Delta is declined. I should have waited 30 days and let the accounts reflect with the new payments I made and applied. Oh well, I'll wait 30 days and re-apply. If I get it then I'll cancel PRG charge card and save my self $175 AF. We will see.

Sorry Cord.
I always say try Recon. Even in this case when you won't have a hard pull for the app. You could call and talk to them. If he reason for he decline is Utilization than maybe offer to send them in proof of payments. I did that for my US Bank Recon. All they wanted was printouts from my online accounts showing the payment and the new balance. Worth a try IMO.
I am going to wait it out and apply again in the next 30-60 days. I am not in a hurry and with Amex the more we push then can get touchy about things. I have paid off most of accounts and they start updating soon. We wil see.
I thought Amex Everyday/ BCE are the easiest?
The Amex BCE is simple to get. I have my score around 670s and was getting denied for some other cards. I still have a high util rate on my last statement (67%) even though it will be at less than 8% once my next statement is updated. I also have a short credit history (6 months). However, I just got approved for the BCE for 1k CL on the spot.

Congrats for your BCE approval.
