This makes a lot of sense. I think also I have been reading some older threads that had me confused. It also might have been on a different forum, but someone who had a high 500 score or a low 600 score said they got the CLI at activation, I was a bit shocked, but maybe they had a relationship with Synch before that or maybe they were just making it up. I think I just need to garden for a while and give it some time, and in the meanwhile, I can work on a couple of issues with my credit reports too that might help raise my score. I also think that people shouldn't be misled by saying that a story will make a difference. It's obvious that there are many factors that are considered and weighed, and it's not a story, or a specific score, but a combination of factors that are undecipherable since we all have different scenarios. Thanks for the advice!
Credit Solutions never worked for me until my TU Fico was above 690+, best sucess with them came after I reached 700. When I had a TU that wouldnt move for a year around 650, I was already denied by them for CS cli's.
630 is a low score and I cannot see Synchrony giving a CLI with this score. If you raise your score as others are saying, you may receive a different response to your CLI request.

Hi Ladybuggs.
Sorry you haven't gotten any increases. I did not get my first increase with Walmart until after the 4th statement cut. Amazon was a bit better in that I got an increase after the 2nd statement cut. It will happen in time. Just be patient. As mention earlier, a lot of things factor into getting an increase. My increases have occurred as my scores have increased. I would love to have the $10k CLs, but my profile doesn't support it yet (Lowe's is an anomaly). This time last year I had a $150 CL from Walmart, so you are farther ahead in the game than I was. Keep the faith, and good luck.
I can relate to your issue. I have a bunch of synchrony store cards obtained within the last year all with limits from $200-$800. After reading about the backdoor number i gave it a try and asked for between $1,000-$3,000 on all cards and was shocked to get approved for these increases on every card my scores are between 620-660 but i think income plays a major part in decision as well. So wait a little longer and try again but know there is hope. Was stuck on Walmart for $500 for 9 months denied cl increase with luv button took advice called backdoor number answered a few questions asked me how much i wanted i said 3000 total cl and 2 min later was approved and the rest is history tried every synchrony card since with simalar results it was like an early Christmas present.
I just requested 2 increases from synch; WM & Paypal SC.
WM was a no go, I have never used the card, this could be why.Reconn'd 2 times via phone, it did absolutely no good.
Paypal was a success it went from $400 to 2.5K. Kind of surprising since my scores are much lower than when I first app'd ( duh.. because of the app sprees.) But, I buy on ebay alot so this card was used alot and I told them the SL was useless.
So it seems there is no one answer & I am proof that you don't need high scores.
Both cards are just a few months old.
