What my chances for the Best Buy card?

Hi there. 595 Fico score, 2 collection accounts and 3 judgements. Should I not even worry about applying with best buy? I need a new laptop. thanks

I've applied at least 3 times and have always been denied. It's been a couple of years, though.

Stated reason is baddies on my CR.

If you're talking about the bestbuy card issued by citi then I would advise you to just save your HP. You probably have a better shot though not guaranteed at Synchrony Wally Card (Wal-Mart might have some decent laptops) or if you're a Mac guy like me, Barclays Apple CC. Both Wally and Barclays Apple do financing.

Yeah, i recommend holding off. Citi can be more difficult to get with your score. Keep working on your baddies and youll get there

If walmart is an option for you, they will likely pull TU and i was approved with 595 TU. Which CRA is that score?

I got a prequalification mailer (paper) last week for the Walmart store card, applied on Saturday 6/10 and was approved for $1200 with a 640 TU score. Their web site has a LOT of items not available in-store. so if you're looking for a laptop you may well be able to find a good one (and get 3% back in statement credits if you're using the Walmart card). Citi can be sticky with derogatories on your report, and if you burned them in a BK, you might as well forget about it, at least for cards issued under their brand (some people say it's a bit easier for co-branded cards).

As far as the Barclay Apple Visa goes, how difficult is that to get? Which CRA do they pull?

Barclays pull mid 600's and its a TU. If someone has gotten one with a lower score please chime in. Also, it helps if have not burned them either(they remember everything).

Syncrhony Amazon too. Which have 0% finance periods. I am not sure what credit score you need though.

I got denied for PayPal thru synchrony with 625 fico score but I got a lot of baddies but they are all paid off. Medical and student loans.
