Getting a credit card with a credit union usually works well. I would also recommend looking into Capital One and American Express. My gf got her second credit card from Capital One and got a starting credit limit of 10k. American Express lets you request a CLI up to 3x your starting limit after 60-90 days.
American Express, yes. Venture / Venture One might do well. Discover started me off the best, but that's just me.
I think you need to see what AMEX gives you as a denial reason before proceding further. But considering your current limits, $2,500 on the Chase card is a good approval.
I believe your limits are a little low to get approved for the Venture at this point, but you'd probably do well if you applied for the VentureOne. The problem with VentureOne is that the rewards structure isn't that attractive.
Have you been trying to keep a lid on your reported utilization? If it's high, that might have scared AMEX off. You didn't mention where you got your score. You might want to sign up for the $1 trial at CreditCheck Total to get all three FICO8s, along with your current reports. Cancel before the trial period ends.
As satisfiedllama suggested I would look into a credit union. They have pleasantly surprised many people.

I just applied for chase freedom and got a $2500 limit. Also applied for American Express blue cash everyday and got denied 8(. Would it be wise to apply for cap venture?
Go for it. I wouldn't want to keep getting $2,500 approvals if you spend alot monthly. That means you are running up debt on multiple cards. Try to get a Venture and make that a daily driver.
If you ever get in a hole it's best to only have debt on one card and not on several.

My first card has a $1500 limit and second a $2000 limit. One is td bank cash the other capital one platinum. I’m looking to get as much credit as possible as I spend more than my cards line totaled each month. My score is 727. I’m looking for a card that will approve me fast.
....also what is your reported income...that may play a part in your SL.....
Hijacking this. I didn't know that the CL on your other cards was a factor that played into approval for the Venture card Out of curiosity, what are the CLs you recommend having on other cards before applying for the venture?
