What should I app for/PC? Looking for something cool

Hi All,

I've been in the garden a year on June 2nd, and I'm looking for a 6th credit card that will complement the mix I already have in my signature. I've been reading the forum like a mad man, and I'm thinking of something like a Discover, or a Chase card. The cards I was looking at specifically:

Discover IT - not sure about rotating categories given my sallie mae, but discover deals portal is alluring

Discover Miles - the wifi credit is really interesting, also want discover deals

Chase AARP - I dont have a food card currently, but dont know if the extra % is worth having an AARP card haha

Chase Freedom - Possibly looking at this with an eye to getting a CSP down the line

Barclay Ring - It seems really interesting. Is it hype, or actually worth it?

Also on the table is a PC of any of my cards to other cards. I know I have 2 2% CB cards in the Double Cash and FIdelity Amex.

Any advice would be much appreciated, if you need any more info, feel free to ask. My ute is at 14% and dropping fast (0% APR on the Sallie Mae)

Thanks!

Discover IT - 11500 Arrival - 12500, Fidelity - 12000, Citi Double Cash - 8300, Citi My Best Buy - 5500, Capital One Quicksilver - 3250

I personally like the IT card. Calling in I have always had great experiences. They will auto bump you to a certain threshold depending on income. I went from 2k-10k needed a HP at 15k but they just auto bumped me another 1k. Discover portal is great and I find it easy to use. Cash back is either applied or deposited within 3 mouse clicks.

I Just got my CSP/Freedom portal is good a bit confusing if you are new. I haven't had to call Chase but it is definitely a strange bank. As in it is easier to get a new card than a CLI.

I don't have aarp or Ring. Ring would be good if you plan on carrying a balance. Discover and Freedom both offer 15 month APR.

Cool, thanks for the feedback. I toyed with getting an Amex Platinum for the perks, but I found that my home airport only has one eligible lounge in a terminal I never fly out of. Discover IT seems like it might be worth it based on the rotating categories. Any extra cashback is good in my book.
