Close the Open Sky and wait another 6-12 months for things to age.

Wanting and Needing are two options unless someone wants to blow smoke.

If you do decide to go for somethng else then I would push you towards Discover to diversify things a bit from Cap1 being your majority holding right now.  People tend ot have some luck with a SP approval from the pre-qual page and they like thin profiles... or so some people say.

Discover wasn’t even on my mind, I’ll check it out! Thanks again!

Do you have military affiliation in your family? Navy Federal loves thin files so that would be the first place I would check.

Discover is definitely a close second.

But you definitely want to hit the garden so you don't get stuck with a bunch of low limit cards that take ages to grow.

Not close enough to get a card I don’t think. And what is this “gardening” thing I keep reading. We all going to grow vegetables? Lol!

It means you find something else to do other than applying for cards for a period of time while your profile grows as time passes.

Re: What should I apply for next?

There's a few things to determine before deciding what card you want next.

What are you targeting? Are you looking for cashback? A travel card? Miles? Hotel points?

How much natural spend can you do in the next 3 months?

Where do you currently spend your money on monthly?

Sit tight!

You are in an excellent position. You can only harm your status right now.
