Maybe even fingerhut! Nobody actually wants a fingerhut card.. however, they are one of the easiest cards to obtain! Also, I believe creditone has a prequalifier on their website.. Maybe try that too?

YEAH! 1% CB on Gas!

Seriously though? I would advise someone to put their hand in a crocodile's mouth before applying for a CreditOne card.

Lol.. true.. however it seems that the OP is insistant on getting an unsecured card and i wouldnt want him applying for all kinds of standard revolvers only to receive various declines and inq's.. However, you're right! creditone is total bs..

Re: What should I apply for with a 584 score?

Like others have said, Victoris secret or express for comenity card.

For credit cards, Capital one or CreditOne.  FIrst Premier maybe, but I dislike First premier, tons of fees.  Screwed my exs and my credit up years ago. (with little add on fees, so youd pay your bill, next day fee added for whatever reason then your over limit then your payment would post then presto you cant get it back under its limit)

Not sure why above posters dislike credit one, they are a good company.  Never seen any add on fees, I went over my limit for 2 days and paid it back under and nothing happen.  (I was expecting a fee or something)  The only drawback that Ive read but never experienced is the paying for your credit limit increases.  Some say you have to some say they never had to.  Ive never had one from them so I dont know but that would be the only drawback to creditone.

Good luck.

(I was approved with your score or lower when I got all my cards)

*edit*

For Fingerhut be sure to go for a fresh start account not a full regular account you dont want the inquiry and a decline.  They seem to approve everyone for a fresh start account.

I was in that boat not so long ago.

Re: What should I apply for with a 584 score?

Keep your cap one secured and stay away from those "bad credit credit cards" like first premier and credit one which obtain a ridiculous amount of fees.

Try for 2 store cards nothing crazy and low end store cards vicky secret is a good one.  But I would just wait until your score gets even higher at this score your still looked at as high risk, stay with your secured card until your credit gets to the 620s.  Apping away at this score your just going to see alot of declines, good luck.

Re: What should I apply for with a 584 score?

I was'nt going to ask this but I really want to know what fees everyone is talking about on CreditOne?  Other than the Annual fee which is normal for many cards.

Since I have CreditOne and never saw any of these fees it might be good to know what fees you are talking about so I can watch out for em.

No grace period is the biggest drawback in my eyes. Interest from the moment you charge something
